This module is also called "nanoPLC” because it is a programmable logic controller with IO. It has 8 inputs and 4 outputs all with 24V PNP and opto-coupler. Also advanced mathematical function like +-* are available. Typical applications for this module are stand-alone operation where the MAC motor must be able to operate as a complete positioning system without the need for an external PLC. While the program is running it is also possible to use the RS232RS485, on the fly, to modify parameters such as position, speed etc. If you prefer to have a Wireless solution see our Bluetooth module MAC00-FB4 or WLAN module MAC00-EW4 that has the same programming facilities.

Simple module that can be used for pulsedirection or ±10V analogue control with encoder output for external master controller that close the loop. The analog input can also be used in open loop to control position, velocity or torque. Additional it has RS232 and RS485 for access to PC or PLC for programming or setup. The module contains electronics so the 5V serial signals from the basic motor is translated to RS232 or RS485. It is possible to use both RS232 and RS485 but not at the same time. The RS232 is typical used when commissioning software MacTalk is used to setup or monitor the motor. RS485 is used for industrial communication to PLC or PC that transfer operation data to the motor. You can connect up to 32 motors in parallel on the RS485, and up to 7 motors in parallel on the RS232.

Profibus DP slave module with baudrate up to 12Mbit. All registers of the MAC motor can be read and written. Isolated IO are available for High speed startstop, End limit and Zero search function. Address can be set up via software or with DIP switch. The module is equipped with cable glands for use in harsh environments and BUS IN and BUS OUT for easy implementation of bus systems.
