Corro-Wrap Wet Lay-Up is composite system where the fibres using E-Glass, Carbon Fibre or Basalt Fibre are saturated with Corro-Dur resin and applied onto the substrate. Though it is a little tedious but economical compared to prepregs such as Corro-Wrap MC. Allows to choose various resin to suit the requirement of the repair such as high temperatures, high humid environment or when higher strength required. The majority of the Corro-Dur range being moisture and surface tolerant enables application on location where the presence of moisture becomes a hindrance in carrying out effective leak sealing or rehabilitation to use the product.

CORRO-DUR 255 is formulated for effective field application by brush, roller or plural component heated airless sprayer. The CORRO-DUR 255 formulation is based on the unique CORRO-DUR 258 resin system which may be applied to damp or wet surfaces. This resin system is toughened with *Kevlar fibers to give superior chip resistance and is pigmented with select hard ingredients to further enhance wear resistance. The cured film is glossy with a slight texture resulting from the fiber reinforcement. Related products have been employed for underwater application and have been subjected to both radiation and DBA testing with excellent results. The resin system used has excellent resistance to commodities such as hydrocarbon oils and fuels, mineral acids like sulphuric acid at 98% concentration and alkalies. The solvent-free formulation avoids the objectionable odor and explosion hazards of epoxy solvents. Absence of solvents also assures compliance with all present and proposed air pollution regulations and prevents common service problems caused by shrinkage or water sensitivity of residual entrained solvent residues.

Corro-Wrap, a fiberglass carbon fiber cloth impregnated with a water activated urethane resin and is used as a protective outer wrap in conjunction with Corro-Dur 563911 proprietary load transfer coating agents. Corro-wrap is an innovative system that offers exceptional mechanical and impact strength for under water, under ground and above ground corrosion protection coating application and pipeline riser rehabilitation. Wall loss due to external corrosion can be rectified with high performance epoxy system like Corro-Fix 911 and Corro-Dur 563.
