Copra is the dried meat of a coconut typically split into two halves. Indonesia is the largest coconut grower in the world and is continually harvested throughout the year. Copra is used for coconut oil extraction and the residue following extraction is used as animal feed. We source and process our Copra at our processing centers in Sumatra, Sulawesi, Maluku and Java. We have identified the areas with the highest production of coconuts in the country and accordingly set up our processing centers in those areas. We have grown to become one of the largest exporters of Copra from Indonesia. We are capable of exporting around 1000 MT of Copra per month. We export our Copra to our loyal buyers in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan amongst others and they are some of the largest Coconut Oil manufacturers in the world. We supply both Grade A White Copra and also the lower quality Black Copra each producing different qualities of Coconut Oil. We choose fully mature nuts for our high quality Copra that is initially sun dried and later oven dried. If necessary we treat our Copra with sulfur, to ensure low moisture and the absence of fungus and impurities. Our dedicated Copra production team is experts in their field and we continue to grow our production capabilities through innovative and continuous improvement in our processes.

Ginger is often used for its flavor in cooking and in beverages and ginger is well known for its medicinal properties. Indonesia is a leading grower of Fresh Ginger globally. We supply both washed and unwashed fresh ginger of all sizes and specifications. We source most of our ginger from the islands of Java and Sulawesi and ship in refrigerated containers to ensure freshness upon delivery.

Betel Nuts, also known as Areca Nuts, are mostly grown in tropical climates around Asia. Indonesia is one of the largest growers of Betel Nuts in the world. The nuts are mostly used for chewing, animal feed or for medicinal and coloring purposes. In Indonesia, Betel Nuts are primarily grown in the Sumatra island and are harvested year round. Rubyndo initially entered the commodity business in 1998 by exporting Betel Nuts and we have grown to gain a leadership position to become Indonesia’s largest single supplier of Betel Nuts. We source and process most of our Betel Nuts from the Jambi Province in our five processing centers. The Jambi Province is known to yield the highest quality Betel Nuts in the country. On average, we export upwards of 2, 000 MT per month mostly to our customers in Bangladesh, China, Pakistan, Nepal, France amongst others. We process all the different qualities available including all grades of Betel Nuts Split, Lalee, Whole and Areca Peel, where each quality is used for different purposes. We utilize sun and oven drying to thoroughly dry our betel nuts followed by polishing machines to clean and extract impurities. Our dedicated staff our highly trained in sorting betel nuts to ensure consistent product quality as per our customers’ requirements.
