MTC supplies ferrous scrap to steel mills, steel plants and foundries. Our materials are essential for a broad range of high-quality finished and semi-finished products. The Group's Ferrous division currently handles approximately 1.1 million MT of Ferrous Scrap annually.Our strategically located collection yards ensure scrap collection from all the major automobile companies and their ancillary units. Our yards are equipped with Hydraulic Baling Press Machines, Shearing Machines, Hydras, Spectrometers, Cranes, Magnets Heavy-duty trucks and large storage and processing areas. Lab tests are conducted to analyze composition of the scrap material to ensure specific quality parameters of customers are met. HRCR Coils MTC Group is trading in Hot Rolled (HR) and Cold Rolled (CR) Coils and is a distributor of these products. We are supplying HRCR coils to major OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and vendors of major auto manufacturers like Mahindra & Mahindra, TATA Motors, Asia Motor Works (AMW), Godrej, Crompton, etc. and also to various infrastructure companies. Steel and TMT Bars. MTC Group has forayed into manufacturing of steel with two manufacturing units viz. One in Chennai and the other in Bangalore for manufacture of M.S. Billets, M.S. Structural steel and TMT Bars. Bangalore Plant : The Bangalore plant is manufacturing high quality Billets & TMT Bars of around 9500 MTs per month. Chennai Plant : The Chennai plant is conveniently located at Gummidipoondi, with Melting Division comprising 2 Furnaces with capacity to produce 7000 MTs of M.S. Billets per month and a Rolling Mill with capacity to produce medium & heavy structures. The Steel plant comprises of a Melting Division, CCM & a Rolling Mill. The Melting division comprises of 2 furnaces having capacity of 12 MTs each with production capacity of around 7000 MTs of M.S. Billets in various sizes. A well equipped laboratory and spectrometer to ensure quality standards in every piece produced. The Rolling Mill has the capacity to produce medium & heavy structures and our quality is well accepted in the market. We are also the conversion agent for Steel Authority of India (SAIL). Currently we produce Angles, Channels & Beams in various sizes as below with scope to increase the sizes shortly. The plant is also equipped with a full-fledged workshop installed with adequate number Lathes, Drilling & Radial Drilling machines, Planner, Shaping Machines, High-speed Angle grinders and welding machines.
