Vacuum Leak Tester

  • Weight (dry) 42kg
  • Standards Directive 97/23/EC Cat S.E.P, Applies
The LeakVIEW provides an effective visual method of leak detection through either bubble emission, burst test or altitude simulation.
When carrying out bubble emissions testing, the chamber is filled with water prior to testing. During the test phase, the head-space will be placed under the vacuum, causing the package to inflate. Water is not required for altitude simulation or the burst test method. Should any leaks be present within the packaging, a stream of bubbles will be emitted, allowing the user to easily pinpoint the exact location of the leak. The Leakview is able to identify holes smaller than 20 microns. This performance is determined by pack size, vacuum level and head space.
Operated by a simple Selector lever that rotates to hold the vacuum at a chosen level, and then further rotates to control the vent rate. User-friendly and low maintenance, the LeakVIEW vacuum leak tester is an essential piece of equipment for any package testing facility.

Non-Destructive Packaging Tester

  • HMI Display 4 line alpha-numeric display
  • Voltage 110/230V, 50-60Hz
  • Materials Grade 304 stainless steel casework
The MediTEST MO12P range is a lower cost alternative to the MO12C, operating on the same established principle of measuring the reactive force generated by a pack when subjected to vacuum. The non-destructive nature of this method of packaging testing allows for flawless products to be returned to the production line, significantly reducing waste and cost.
Modular and flexible design allows the packaging leak detection system to be optimised for each product application while a self-adjusting sensor reduces the requirement for any specialist tooling. This maximises sensitivity and minimises test time.
A custom designed, embedded controller is employed that features a multi-line alphanumeric display. Physical user input control are provided for operator functions and programming. Available in single or four channel configuration. The MO12P-1 is ideal for low-volume testing while the MO12P-4 allows for a more comprehensive observation of batch performance.

Methylene Blue Dye Test

  • Voltage 100/240V, 50-60Hz
  • Vacuum range 0-750 mBar vacuum
  • Vacuum dwell time 0.5 – 499 seconds
The MediBLUE automates the industry standard methylene blue dye penetration test, by where packaging is submerged in a blue dye solution. The test chamber is then placed under a vacuum which forces the dye into any openings within the packaging.
Should there be any holes present in the packaging then there will be a clear sign of blue dye penetration present within the packaging. The methylene blue dye penetration test has proven to be a popular method of package testing due to its simple, effective and reliable results, in addition to low capital costs.

Non-Destructive Leak Tester

  • Voltage 110/230V, 50-60Hz
  • HMI Display 8.4” 800 x 600 SVGA
  • Materials Grade 304 stainless steel casework
The MediTEST MO12C range operates on the established principle of measuring the reactive force generated by a pack when subjected to vacuum. The change in this force is an indication of packaging integrity.
Package testing identifies any weak seals or leakages, highlighting quality assurance issues. Only a few seconds are required to detect holes down to ten microns while the non-destructive nature of the test allows for waste reduction.
A PC based virtual instrument control system, featuring a touch screen HMI, provides easy to read results, indications and graphical test data to aid analysis. Users are able to store test and meta-data in compliance with 21 CFR Pt 11, and output these to a printer.
The MO12C-1 is ideal for low-volume testing while the MO12C-4 is able to inspect up to four packs simultaneously, providing a clearer indication of packaging integrity
