The SF6 insulated Ring Main Unit is used for electrical distribution, switching and protection, Although the RMU operates conventionally, it is able to provide high protection and security for the operation personnel and maintenance is minimal. The RMU is small and compact in design, allowing it be easily integrated with existing grids and making it easy for cable connection. It offers an economical and reliable solution to network owners due to its well-designed features and low maintenance requirement, The RMU operates at temperatures from -20C to +50C and a climatic change does not affect its performance. The medium of insulation used for the RMU is sulphurhexafluoride , which is widely used gas for insulation in most medium and high-voltage switchgears. The RMU consists of 4 main sections: HV compartment, Drive Mechanism, Circuit Breaker Mechanism and Cable Compartment. The RMU has been tested and conforms to the requirements of IEC 62271-200, IEC 62271-105, IEC 60265-1, IEC 298, 60694, 529 & 129 from the International Electro technical Committee (IEC)

The Indkom IDCS distribution compact substation is well-suited for installation in urban areas where space is a premium. The IDCS provides safety for the public as well as easy maintenance for servicing. It is designed to withstand the surrounding temperature, humidity, rain as well as solar radiation and condensation. Under these conditions, the IDCS is able to withstand the dielectricity and thermic isolation. The IDCS is entirely factory-prefabricated and tested, making installation on site easy and fast. With the life expectancy of 15 years, under normal operation, the IDCS distribution compact substation is practically maintenance free.
The ILV Distribution Board from INDKOM Engineering is designed specially for continuous operation on a 415V 3-phase 4-wire 50Hz system. These factory assembled fuse boards and cabinets usually have one or two incoming supplies and multiple outgoing channels. Overall they are a vital link to any utility’s low voltage distribution network. INDKOM Engineering produces three types of the ILV Distribution Boards: the difference being the incomingoutgoing type; whether it is a J-slotted fuse carrier (complying to BS Standards), NH fuse-system switch type (to DIN Standards) or simply an MCCB-type. Constructed to suit the tropical and hot climates with ambient temperature up to 50ºC, the ILV units are able to withstand heavy rainfall and 100% relative humidity. However, different sizes and configurations can be designed to meet with customers’ requirements.
