The AccessHub receiver, when paired with its transmitter, creates an innovative lighting-control system that helps to save energy, specifically in stairwells. It uses Infrared-Red technology coupled with a motion detector to switch on stairwell lighting only when required. Emergency backup lighting as well as photocell sensor also built into the system to ensure that stairways will always be lit whenever human passage is necessary.
